Professor Md. Irfan Khan
Ph.D, 1992 (Demography, Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur)Director, TALEEM Research Foundation and Chancellor Jigyasa University, Dehradun. Professor Khan had served the Foundation as Associate Director, Head- Research and Finance Controller and contributed extensively in Foundation’s growth since 1998. He has been part of the core team from TALEEM Research Foundation to establish and sponsor the Jigyasa University in Dehradun. Professor Khan has nearly two and half decades of teaching and research experiences and specializes in the field of population, health and social development. In addition, elections studies and forecasting elections results are the other key areas of his research interest. Professor Khan has executed 58 research projects sponsored by national and international agencies as a Project Director and Co-Principle Investigator. He is one of the nation’s leading demographer known for his contribution in national demographic studies like NFHS, RCH, DLHS and GATS-India executed under the aegis of Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India. Professor Khan has also worked as consultant to UNFPA, Government departments and Academic Institutions. He has been visiting professor and resource persons to various Indian universities and academic institutions and external examiner for Ph.D. thesis evaluation. Professor Khan has attended numerous International and National Conferences and Workshops and has presented and published over 54 research papers in journals of national and international repute and edited books.
Dalipkumar Singh Bora
Ph.D, 1992 (Economics, Kumaun University, Nainital)Professor, he has been actively involved in research and evaluation activities encompassing health, economic development, community based social activities and women and child development. Development of rural population especially the livelihood sector, education and economic development are the other areas that interest him. Multitasking and multi-sectoral participation always contribute to the growth of the Foundation.
Giriraj Sharma
Ph.D, 2006 (Geography, Jiwaji University, Gwalior)Lecturer, Formerly worked as District Project Coordinator, Society for the Promotion of Health & Education Morena, Madhya Pradesh. While serving the foundation he has worked in the area of Social Health, Tribal, Population, Education and Media Studies.
Mahesh Chauhan
Ph.D, 2000 (Rural Studies Veer Narmad South Gujarat University, Surat)Assistant Professor, Formerly Research and Documentation Coordinator, DEEPAK Foundation, Vadodara. While serving the foundation he has worked in the area of Social Health, Tribal Development, Forestry, Population, Education, Rural Development and Media Studies.
Ilesh Dharek
CBSE-NET 2017, MSW 2011 (Sardar Patel University, Vallabh Vidhyanagar)Faculty Associate, ardent towards Social Research and expertise in planning, designing, conducting, managing and documenting on Social Research projects. Formerly worked with SRED, DECU – ISRO, Ahmedabad and Urban Management centre as a Research Assistant. He has more than six years of experience in the various sectors of Social Research field. While serving to Foundation he worked in areas of Social Health, Rural Development, Education, Population, Social Policy and Media Studies.
Vijay Uttekar
B.A, (Economics, M.S. University, Baroda and Diploma in Computer Management, Nimrod Institute, Baroda)Manager (Data Processing Unit). Formerly worked with AKHS(I), an internationally supported voluntary organisation. Has extensive experience of using various software packages. Responsible for managing data processing unit and developing various packages for management and analysis of quantitative and qualitative data for all the studies in TALEEM Research Foundation.
