Focus: Vocationalisation of Education  

National in character and transnational in jurisdiction, the University in the Sky is to be set up under the Private Universities (Establishment and Regulation) Bill, 1995.  As a distance and open learning university, it aims to provide wide and easy access for learning opportunities via satellite television and information technology.  Once operational, short and long term courses will be offered in a wide range of vocational and professional areas.
